Curlewis Golf Club has advised that a small number of amateur positions are still available in the club’s annual pro-am to be played on Monday 11 January.
Host venue for 2016 Oates Vic Open final qualifying in early February, Curlewis is a beautiful parkland style course in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula, just ten minutes from Geelong.
The Pro-Am will be played in a Four Ball Best Ball format of up to 60 teams comprising one PGA professional and one amateur with multiple prizes on offer including longest drive and nearest the pins. The professionals competing will play for a prize pool of $10000.
A multi-tee start will commence play at 12.30pm. Entries are welcome from both men and women with an official Golf Australia handicap (maximum of 36 for men and 45 for women). The entry fee is $100 per person and includes light lunch as well as a $50 voucher for Jack Rabbit Vineyard/Flying Brick Cidery or Curlewis Golf Club.
