The last day of the 2016 Women's Country Meeting was completed today at Magenta Shores Country Club with competitors competing in an 18 holes Foursomes Stroke event.
Winners of the division one stroke was the Wauchope pairing of Jane Horne and Jo Horton shooting an 85 off the stick. Nett winners were Catherine Ayres and Molly Plunkett from MacLean GC with a nett score of 72. Runners up on 72 1/2 were Shelly Beach pairing of Sue Galton and Suzanne Roberts-Noble.
Division two winners were Kathy Dean and Gai Palmer from Shelly Beach with a score of 98. Nett winners were Susan Bell and Judy Fuller from Club Taree on 77 1/2 nett and runners up, half a shot behind on nett 78 were Jean Lane and Anne O'Grady from Belmont GC.

The final 18-holes of the 36-hole Women's Country Meeting was played at Wyong Golf Club today with some very close finishes.
Division One
Kim Burke of Magenta Shores G&CC won the Mabel McKenzie Cup for 2015 with rounds of 82 at Shelly Beach GC on Monday and 84 at Wyong GC today for a total of 166 off the stick. Una Clift Bowl Winner was Lynette McMurray from Everglades CC with a total of 153 nett, winning on a countback to Robyn Winter of Horizons GR.
Division Two
Division two's Rose Payten Trophy was won by Rosalie Annecchini of Shelly Beach GC with a total score of 201, rounds of 100 at Shelly Beach GC on Monday and 101 at Wyong GC today. Overall Nett Winner, the Una Clift Bowl was Maclean's Kim Moore with 156 nett. Runner up nett winner was Kerry Kidd from Duntryleague GC with a total of 159 nett.
Division Three
The Marie Chapman Trophy winner for the overall 36-hole stableford was Rosemary Moore from Shelly Beach with a score of 66 points for the two rounds. One point behind on a total of 65 points was fellow Shelly Beach member Lesley Clements and third place winners who is also from Shelly Beach was Vicki Ireland with a total of 64 points.

As the Women's Country Meeting draws to a close today, the last round is being played at Wakehurst Golf Club with players contesting in the foursomes component of the tournament.
