The Women's Summer Meeting has concluded for 2016 with the final day being held at Mt Broughton and Moss Vale Golf Clubs for the Teams V Par event.
Winners at Moss Vale on a fantastic score of +14 was Anne Bissaker (Killara, 26), Jennifer Corrigan (Killara, 25), Linda Reiss (Monash, 32) and Nina Kiernan (Avondale, 21). Runners up and only one point behind on +13 was Wakehurst's Jennifer Webb (26), Jennifer Vernooy (25), Lorraine Sullivan (17) and Tanya Hoyle (28).
Wakehurst team of Ann Cameron (17), Anne Strange (23), Jann Reid (12) and Jenny Knapman (19) also took out the winning prize at Mt Broughton for the teams v par event with +11. On a countback and only one point behind for runners up were Gail Earle (The Coast, 32), Gwennyth Chance (The Coast, 33), Karen White (The Coast, 29) and Wendy Hamer (Moss Vale, 25) with +10.

The third day of the Women's Summer Meeting is now complete with 18-holes foursomes being played at Mt Broughton for Division 1 and Bowral for Division Two.
Wakehurst's Debbine Nunn and Sachiko Cathcart took out the scratch prize at Mt Broughton for Division One with a great score of 81 off the stick. Nett winners were Barbara Bohdanowicz and Margaret Critchon (14) from the coast with a nett score of 73. Nett Runners up were Jocelyn Mackay (Moss Vale) and Jan Deane (Bowral) (11) with a 74 nett.
Wakehurst pairs took out First, Second and Third Place for Division 2 at Bowral today. Foursomes Nett Winners were Debbie Sate and Maureen Franklin (28 ½) with a nett 77 ½. Runners Up and two behind were Jennifer Webb and Tayna Hoyle (26 ½) with 79 ½ nett and Third Place Nett went to Christine Carolyn and Judy Gailey (25) with 82 nett on a countback.

Round 2, the final 18-holes of the Women's Summer Meeting is now complete at Highlands and Moss Vale Golf Clubs.
Jocelyn Mackay held on to her overnight lead to win the Open Summer Cup by five strokes from defending champion Debbie Nunn. Mackay had a total score of 169, with scores of 82 at Bowral on Monday and 87 at Highlands today. This is the sixteenth time Mackay has won this tropy. Nett Winner was Ineke Kelson (21) from Randwick who had rounds of 80 nett at Bowral and 74 nett at Highlands, a total of 154. Runner up on 155 was Wakehurst's Geraldine Anderson (20), rounds of 80 at Bowral and 75 at Highlands.
Moss Vale's Alexandra Nielsen (39) was consistent over the two rounds at Highlands and Moss Vale to win the Kathleen Armstrong Bowl for 2016. Nielsen was four points behind coming into Tuesday's round but local knowledge paid off with her round of 34 points at Moss Vale to win Division Two by one point, a total of 66 points. Runner up was Wakehurst's Janeen Macfarlane (40) with rounds of 34 points at Highlands and 31 points at Moss Vale.

Round 1 of 2016 Women’s Summer Meeting is now complete with 130 ladies playing at Bowral GC (Division 1) and Highlands GC (Division 2).
Leading Division 1 is Jocelyn Mackay (Moss Vale GC) with a score of 82 off the stick. Wakehurst's Debbie Nunn is six strokes behind on 88. Local Elizabeth White (Highlands GC, 22) had a nice round of 74 to win the daily nett, next best was Oatlands Agnes Lal (21) with a nett 77.

Division 2 is lead by Bayview's Robin Mason (40) who had a grea score of 36 points, two points in front of Wakehurst's Janeen Macfarlane (40) who had a score of 34 points.
Players will tee it up again tomorrow at Highlands for Division 1 and Moss Vale for Division 2.

The Women’s Summer Meeting is open to female amateurs who hold a current Australian or overseas equivalent handicap. It is held over four days, across a number of courses in the Central Southern Golf Association.
The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one, and 18-holes on day two (played in two divisions), followed by 18-holes foursomes on day three, and best ball teams v par on day four.
Over 180 participants will play in this years event. Beginning Monday 7 March Division 1 play their first round at Bowral GC and Division 2 play at Highlands GC. It promises to be both enjoyable and competitive across both divisions.
Draws, results and reports will be available daily on the Golf NSW website.
