2017 NSW Bowl and Goodwill Plate Results

The NSW Bowl is a women's 18 hole fourball best ball stableford competiton and can be played by any club between the January 1st to September 30th. This competition is imporatnt to female golfers in NSW for all proceeds are then  used to fund the female golf initiatives.  This year there were over 60 club participating in this event with some great score coming in from  The Links Shell Cove golf Club with a combined score of 48 points and Wagga Wagga also having a score of 48 points, howvever it was the team of Beverly Stirton and Denise Field from Kareela Golf Club who cleaned up on the day have a massive 52 points- Congratulations ladies!

The Goodwill Plate is again another event that takes place from January 1st to September 30th. The Goodwill Plate is an 18 hole stroke event in which the the lowest nett score in conjunction with the highest scratch rating will win the event.  The Goodwill Plate is an event that supports the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Research Institute which is a fantastic initiative seeing as we are all out in the sun playing this wonderful game.  This year the Goodwill Plate had over 70 clubs enter the competition and again there were some great scores, Leisl Kolodziej from Wollongong Golf Club had a great score of 7 under while Hazel Gardner from Boorowa Golf Course had a fantastic score of 8 under, but it was Uschi Dold from The Coast Golf Club who had a day out and had a 9 under score winning the 2017 Goodwill Plate. Congratulations Uschi!
