Applications for inclusion in the 2018 Golf NSW High-Performance Program are now open.
Nominations are now being accepted and will close at 4.00pm on 2 February 2018. The squad will be announced on 1 March 2018, coinciding with national squad announcements.

2017 was full of highlights for Golf NSW HPP athletes and displayed to fans how bright the future of the sport is.
Athlete Highlights
Cameron Davis
Without a doubt, the highlight of 2017 for Cameron Davis was his come-from-behind victory in the Emirates Australian Open which saw him crowned the youngest National Open Champion since Aaron Baddeley.
Davis’ climbed to fourth in the world rankings during his outstanding amateur carerr. It included an Australian Amateur Championship in 2015 and victory in the individual and teams title at the 2016 Eisenhower alongside fellow New South Welshman Harrison Endycott and Western Australia’s Curtis Luck.
Davis turned professional in October 2016 and finished 13th on debut at the Isuzu Queensland Open. Shortly after, he exploded onto the world scene with a 15th place finish at the USPGA Tour’s OHL Classic in Mexico.
Davis played the Canadian Tour in 2017 with limited success, however, following his Australian Open Triumph, he seems assured of getting some starts on the USPGA and WEB.COM Tours in 2018.
Travis Smyth
Smyth, from Flinders, near Shellharbour announced himself to Australian Golf fans with a thrilling victory against a high-quality field at the PGA Tour of Australasia Tier II sanctioned Northern Territory PGA Championship. The win secured the 23-year-old PGATA status for 2018.
Smyth, who reached a career-high of ninth on the world amateur rankings, made his professional debut in the 2017 NSW Open held at Twin Creeks. He finished in 11th place and followed it up a week later with a top ten finish in the Australian Open.
Courtesy of his NT PGA win, Smyth is now comfortably inside the top 500 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
Harrison Endycott
Endycott finished his amateur career ranked inside the world's top 20. At one stage he was ranked as high as the 8th on the WAGR.
Endycott won five times around the globe in 2016 and earnt a spot as a Golf Australia National Benchmarked Athlete. He was also a member (alongside Cameron Davis and Curtis Luck) of the Australian Team that won the World Amateur Team Championship (The Eisenhower Cup) by 19 shots.
Endycott turned professional in 2017 and finished 3rd in the 2018 PGATA Qualifying school, securing his playing rights for 2018.
Josh Armstrong
After being promoted from the JNJG Elite squad mid-year 2016, Armstrong has gone from strength to strength winning the IMG World Junior title in the USA, Scottish Boys Stroke Play and the Srixon International.
In 2017, he was chosen in the Junior Presidents Cup Team played in the USA and won the Avondale Medal.
Armstrong has reached the National Benchmarks and is a GA Benchmarked Athlete.
Grace Kim
Kim won four National Ranking events in 2017 and is the reigning Australian Girls champion. She picked up a swag of national junior titles last year and is by far the number one junior in the country, currently ranked 68th in the World.
She has reached the National Benchmarks and is also a GA Benchmarked athlete.
Cameron Davis, Troy Moses, Jordan Zunic, Brett Drewitt, Tim Stewart, Jake Higginbottom and Callan O’Reilly are all past NSW HP and State Team representatives who continue to train and mix with the current HP athletes both in the gym and on-course. This involvement of past players, tournament winners, and current tour players creates an excellent environment for all to improve.
