Applications now open for 2019 Golf NSW HP Program.

Nominations for the 2019 Golf NSW High Performance Program are now open.

The objective of the Golf NSW HPP is to provide a "value add" to our State's athletes who have the talent, desire and attributes to be highly ranked international amateurs and ultimately professional players competing on the worlds major tours, and who are capable of reaching the Top 100 on the World Golf Rankings.

NSW has a long history of producing high-level players, and this has created a desire in many of the state's aspiring juniors to follow in their footsteps and chase dreams of becoming successful tour professionals.

"Players like Cameron Davis and Travis Smyth have marked their careers with early local professional success, and now their names are popping up on leaderboards around the world," Golf NSW High Performance Manager Khan Pullen said.

More recently, the Golf NSW HPP has achieved excellent results supporting the current generation to reach their dreams.

Thanks to initiatives like sub-elite development programmes provided by Jack Newton Junior Golf, and partnerships with the Regional Academy networks, there is a continual stream of talented young players being identified across the state.

"We aim to continue to develop these individuals by providing further support and opportunities to succeed to their highest potential on and off the course," Mr Pullen added.
