Schools can apply for funding through Sporting Schools that can be used to book a primary or secondary golf program. Schools can either select a teacher delivered, or coach delivered (either by accredited Community Instructors or PGA Professionals) program with the option of including MyGolf Equipment kits. Sporting Schools funding can also be used for professional development (online teacher training through the Community Instructor program) and transport to a local club/facility as part of the Sporting Schools program.
What Schools Can Receive:
The MyGolf online shop (http://shop.mygolf.org.au/) contains all your school’s golfing equipment needs. There are kits for lower (grade 3-4) and upper primary (grade 5-6) and secondary schools. The equipment is highly modified to ensure that it is safe and easy to use.

Roles and Responsibilities
For Schools
- Book the program through the Sporting Schools online booking system
- Engage a minimum of 10 and max of 30 per students per session
- Deliver a minimum of 4 sessions for 45-60mins
- Order MyGolf School kits prior to program commencing (if required)
- Have the kit and other sports equipment on hand for coach to use during all sessions
- Provide active supervision to assist coaches in all sessions
- Receive and pay invoices – Coach (deliverer fee) State/Territory Admin fee
- Work with SSA/Local Club or Facility to arrange week 5 club visit (when required)
For Accredited Deliverers
- Hold current Community Golf Instructor or PGA accreditation
- Hold a current Working With Children Check /Police Check/Blue Card
- Accept program offering email from Golf Australia
- Deliver a fun, safe and engaging MyGolf Sporting Schools program by following the resources provided
- Report any issues with the program directly to State/Territory representative
- Invoice the school directly at the completion of the program
