About
School Programs
The MyGolf Primary school program and the Golf Australia Secondary school program are designed to ensure participants meet the ACARA curriculum learning outcomes and have fun when doing so. There are grade specific resource manuals equipped with learning intentions and focus questions, as well as an interactive resource app available to assist in the delivery of these programs. These programs can be teacher delivered (School Ambassadors) or can be delivered through Sporting Schools by PGA Professionals or Accredited Community Instructors.
#golfathome
We are now making available to teachers, parents and/or carers revised Primary and Secondary curriculum resource manuals to assist in maintaining the teaching and learning of physical activity in the event of ongoing school closures in light of the current COVID-19 crisis.
These manuals promote the engagement of primary and secondary aged children in physical activity and exercise with golf specific activities that are simple to follow and require minimal space and easy to come by equipment. The activities are constructed around skill development through games-based discovery and will ensure school aged children can continue to develop their motor skills whilst also facilitating daily exercise.

If you'd like to share any pictures or videos of you or your kids getting inventive with your golf activities at home, make sure you hashtag #golfathome and #golfaust
School Ambassador
The School Ambassador Program aims to support and recognise teachers for their commitment in promoting and delivering MyGolf School programs. By registering, teachers are eligible for a range of benefits and rewarded for reporting the programs run in their school community.
Sporting Schools
Schools can apply for funding through Sporting Schools that can be used to book a primary or secondary golf program. Schools can either select a teacher delivered, or coach delivered (either by accredited Community Instructors or PGA Professionals) program with the option of including MyGolf Equipment kits. Sporting Schools funding can also be used for professional development (online teacher training through the Community Instructor program) and transport to a local club/facility as part of the Sporting Schools program.
Online teacher training
Teachers have the opportunity to become an accredited Community Golf Instructor by completing our teacher specific online course. The training is fully interactive and provides teachers with the skills and knowledge to deliver the MyGolf Schools program. Visit – https://www.golf.org.au/communityinstructor/
