700 kids through the Golf SA Interactive Zone at Westfield
To tie in the with the second week of the school holidays, Golf SA set up an Interactive Golf Zone in the Centre Court Area at Westfield Marion.
Golf was brought to life for three-days between 7 – 9 October at SA’s largest Shopping Centre with Golf SA promoting MyGolf, the National Junior Golf Program along with the upcoming Playgolf WEEK participation initiative.
Over the 3 days, 700 children moved their way through the 4 hole mini golf course finishing at the PGA hitting bay with Golf SA staff and volunteers on hand to provide instruction.
The promotion was all about kids having fun and introducing them to the game of golf. All who participated received a show bag with goodies and golf info, including info listing those clubs who have current active MyGolf Programs.
Golf SA thanks the following volunteers who assisted with the promotion.
Elysia Yap (Glenelg), Emma Sutton (The Grange), John Hazzell (Willunga), Alicia Smith (The Grange), Heath Riches (Kooyonga), Susie Mathews (Kooyonga), Scott Ready (Flagstaff Hill), Ben Stowe (The Grange), Jack Gale (North Adelaide), Brad Manton (Flagstaff Hill), Fiona Crosbie (Westward Ho), Daniel Blackwell (Royal Adelaide).
Big thank you also to the PGA for use of their very popular Hitting Bay.
