Victorian Golf Clubs are reminded that VicHealth’s Active Club Grants are now open for applications.
The Active Club Grants offer funding to community sport and recreation clubs to increase or maintain participation through their club, by purchasing core equipment.
Core sporting equipment is needed by the club to conduct its sport and active recreation activities. This may include game equipment, playing uniforms or injury prevention items.
There are two levels of funding available – $3,000 and $10,000. Clubs can apply for funding at both levels; however a club can only be successful in one funding level.
Clubs are encouraged to apply particularly is they are seeking to purchase MyGolf and SwingFit kits for upcoming programs, as well as pennant uniforms.
Applications for Round 2 opened on February 1 2016 and closes at 4pm Friday 4 March.
