Free MyGolf Kids Zone

Come and visit the MyGolf kids zone next to the clubhouse from Thursday – Sunday from 9am – 5pm.

Thursday and Friday will see a range of golf activities available for kids, with the weekend bringing even more fun and excitement, including a jumping castle, animal farm, face painting, balloons and plenty of free giveaways!

 

Community Instructor Professional Development Session

On Friday 7 February, Victorian Community Instructors have been invited to take part in a professional development session run by Golf Australia staff in the MyGolf Interactive Zone. Community Instructors will be given the opportunity to run games and activities with the school groups in the Zone and will then be free to head out on course to watch the tournament.

Teen Girls Golf

There is a fantastic opportunity at this years ISPS Handa Vic Open for Victorian Teens. Girls who participated in the My Golf Girls Development Camp or a school based Teen Golf Pilot in 2019 are being offered the chance to play 9 holes on the Championship Creek course on February 8, 2020. The girls will then have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with one of the Pro’s.

 

Victorian Inclusive Championship

The Victorian Inclusive Championship is open to golfers with a disability who qualify under the International Golf Federation (IGF) definitions of impairment. The Championship is open to all impairment categories.

Round 1 will be played at Barwon Heads GC on Monday 3 February (PM) and Round 2 at 13th Beach Golf Links on Tuesday 4 February (from 7:00am off the 1st tee on the Beach Course) during the practice day.
