Adam Murdock wins SA Sand Greens Championship
Adam Murdock (Warooka GC) has taken out the 2015 Golf SA Sand Greens Championship by 2 strokes ahead of last years winner Jackson Arthur (Kadina GC).
Played at the Cleve Golf Club 15-16 Aug, Murdock posted an even par opening round of 72 to trail leader Scott Arthur by one stroke after 18 holes. But it was Murdock who managed to hold his game together in the second round, posting a second round 71 to finish 1-under for the Championship and two ahead of Jackson Arthur who finshed ahead of Scott on countback.
Best Nett Aggregate was taken out by Jack Flavel from Gladstone Golf Club with a nett 134.
In the Allen Hurst Trophy (B Grade Championship) for players with handicaps 13.0-27.4, Michael Farr (Kimba GC) with a handicap of 13, claimed the title with rounds of 82 & 87 (+25).
Runner Up was local Paul Bammann (Cleve), 87 & 84 (+27). Best Nett Aggregate went to Dylan Jenner (Cleve) Nett 138.
