Sun Ju Ahn has fired a second round of 68 to take a three-shot lead into the halfway mark of the ANZ Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast. Ahn sits at 12-under-par, three clear of Swede Lotta Wahlin who carded a round of 67 while five-time champion Karrie Webb is seven off the pace after a second round of 68. The Korean fired five birdies and had only one blemish on her card at the final hole as she extended her overnight lead by a shot. Wahlin nailed three birdies and an eagle during her round as she leapt into outright second place, one stroke clear of Australian Tamie Durdin and Korean Ji Yai Shin. Shin was one of the day&aposs biggest movers, carding a second round of 66, which included five birdies, an eagle and just one dropped shot. MFS Women&aposs Australian Open champion Webb looked set for a remarkable second round when she helped herself to five birdies in her opening ten holes. However, a double bogey at the par five 12th and a bogey at the 14th dropped her down the leaderboard, before two further birdies at 15 and 18 put her into contention during the weekend. Natalie Gulbis and Laura Davies are well down the leaderboard in equal 34th position after both carded second rounds of 73.
