Albinski honoured at Mona Vale

Mona Vale Golf Club has honoured the amateur career of one of its long-time sons, Stefan Albinski.

Albinksi is no stranger to the winner’s circle. He has amassed a swag of titles and representative honours at the Northern Beaches Club dating back to the 1970’s including no less than 12 Club Championships as well as 40 years of representative honours in Major Pennants and 14 years in Masters Pennant.

As a senior golfer, Albinksi has excelled at a level very few have reached. Since becoming eligible to play senior events, he has taken out  a bunch of titles including three Australian Senior Amateur Championships, three Australian Senior Amateur Match Play Championships, and 2 Asia-Pacific Senior Amateur Championships.

The 63-year old took out the 2016 NSW Senior Championships in April, an achievement that also gave him the remarkable honour of having won every State and Territory Senior Amateur Championship in Australia at least once.

Stefan has represented Australia and competed with distinction across the Asia-Pacific region. As you would expect, he’s been a member of plenty of winning teams along the way.

Stefan’s career is by no means over. He’s a legend in senior golf and there’s every chance that his long list of wins will be added to in the near future.
