Allenby arrested at casino after John Deere Classic

Robert Allenby in the news again for his actions outside the golf course.

The 45-year-old Australian golfer was arrested for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct at 2:30 a.m. early Saturday morning outside Jumer's Casino and Hotel in Rock Island, Ill. The casino is about 20 minutes from TPC Deere Run, where this week's John Deere Classic is being held. Rock Island Police told GolfDigest.com Allenby spent "probably less than an hour" in jail before being released after posting bond.

Allenby missed the cut in the tournament on Friday — his 19th missed cut in 21 events this season. Allenby has just over $25,000 in earnings on the PGA Tour in 2015-'16.

This news comes about a year and a half after Allenby had another odd off-the-course incident, that time in Hawaii. The Aussie claims to have been kidnapped, drugged and robbed at a bar in Hawaii while playing at the 2015 Sony Open.
