Allenby slips to sixth

Robert Allenby has had a horror third round at the Honda Classic shooting a three over par 73 to slip to sixth spot on the leaderboard. Coming into day three as joint leader, Allenby was one under through the first nine holes before he started to unravel. The Aussie Bogeyed the par four 12th and 13th holes and then shot a double bogey on 16 to take his round to three over the card. American Mark Wilson has moved into the lead after an excellent four under par 66. Wilson set the tone with an eagle on three and went on to shoot four birdies and three bogeys to move into the lead. Compatriot Boo Weekely was the other big mover on day three also shooting 66 for the round. Like Wilson, Weekely eagled the third hole before hitting three birdies and a bogey to go to outright second place. Cahrlie Wi, who shared the lead with Allenby overnight, suffered a similar fate shooting a disappointing 72 to drop to fifth on the leaderboard. Steve Allen is the next best of the Aussies on even par, while John Sneden and Peter Lonard are at one over and four over respectively. Jarrod Lyle is a stroke further back at five over the card, with Matthew Goggin and Gavin Coles all but done at seven and eight over respectively.
