Media Co-ordinator
Sandy Lonergan

Sandy has worked as the ALPG Media Coordinator since mid-2002. It was her passion for the game back in 2002 that lead her to contact the CEO, Warren Sevil and ask how she could help women’s professional golf in Australia. Warren suggested the role as media coordinator as the Australian media had no central link to the Australian players. Since 2002 Sandy has worked with all forms of the Australian media (television, radio, print) to recommend and facilitate interviews all year round.

She also works with tournament promoters and owners in developing media and marketing strategies for the major tournaments.

During the ALPG tournament season Sandy is the Media Centre Manager for majority of the ALPG events, and then is an integral part of the media team in running the media centres for the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open (Golf Australia) and ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open (New Zealand Golf).
