Andrew Robb takes new role

Andrew Robb has been appointed as Manager – Game Development, Rules and Handicapping following the recent retirement of Rod Clark, the former Manager of Rules and Handicapping with Golf NSW.

Mr Robb, who has been the Golf NSW Participation and Programs Manager for over 12 months, will now manage Rules and Handicap enquiries for Golf NSW across the State.

A former member of the Golf NSW Match and Rules Committee and the manager of the 2016 Golf NSW Men’s interstate team, Mr Robb has held several administrative positions at a club, district and state level in his 25-year involvement in the game. He is a former club delegate for Metropolitan Zone C, a former Golf NSW Councillor a representative Major Pennant player and the current Club Captain at Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club.

“Andrew is a highly respected golf administrator and has been a valuable mentor for many in the game,” Graeme Phillipson, General Manager of Golf, Golf NSW said. “ His appointment to this role will ensure that enquiries about Rules and Handicapping will be handled in a knowledgeable and efficient manner.”

He is thrilled to now be able to use his knowledge of the Rules to assist the many enquiries received each week.

"I'm looking forward to working with clubs and districts to help them with any rule or handicapping related question,” Mr Robb said.
