Golf Australia wishes to advise that Golf Australia/AIS High Performance Program Manager Peter Knight will leave the organisation later this year. Peter is coming to the end of a three year contract with Golf Australia and he has decided to pursue other opportunities. Golf Australia CEO Stephen Pitt said: We wish him well and thank him for his contribution to Golf Australia s High Performance program. He is very highly regarded by his friends at Golf Australia and colleagues in the wider golfing industry and has made a substantial contribution to the development of our emerging players over many years. Prior to joining Golf Australia, Peter worked at the New South Wales Institute of Sport/NSW Golf and is one of only two PGA Master Professionals residing in Australia. As well as being a Teaching Editor for Golf Australia Magazine, he played a key role in the re-establishment of the AIS Golf Program and coached Australian teams in international tournaments five times.
