Former National Squad members Bree Arthur (QLD) and Justin Roach (NSW) took out the gold medals in the individual golf events at the 2009 Arafura Games in Darwin. Played at Darwin Golf Club, the Australian women&aposs team of Arthur, Ashlee Dewhurst (TAS) and Ebony Heard (SA) took out all three medals in the women&aposs event with Heard winning silver and Dewhurst bronze. In the Men&aposs event, Justin Roach claimed the gold medal while Stephen Speirs claimed the bronze medal. Chris Brown finished seventh.
