John Senden and Marc Leishman lead the Aussie charge at the Wyndham Championship as play was again suspended due to darkness. After opening with a 69, Senden rocketed into contention with five birdies and an eagle in a blistering six-under 64 that saw him move to seven-under overall and a share of 12th place. Leishman was equally good on the second day, his 65 seeing him move to eight-under for the tournament and a tie for seventh. They are still chasing American Chris Riley, however, who carded a brilliant seven-under 63 to move to 11-under. Riley&aposs round followed his opening 66 to leave him 11-under for the tournament, level with day one leader Ryan Moore, who will resume his second round five-under through 17 holes. Moore was one of a number of players left unfinished as play was abandoned early for the second day running due to bad light at Sedgefield Country Club. Jeff Maggert also has one hole to play of his second round and is currently on his own one behind the leaders on 10-under. A group of the three sit one shot back on nine-under 131s, with Spain&aposs Sergio Garcia, the top-ranked European, alongside Bill Haas and Chez Reavie. The Wyndham Championship offers players the final chance to collect FedEx Cup points, with the top 125 players on the list earning a spot in the play-offs. Riley currently occupies 129th spot in the list but is shaping up well to qualify comfortably. Having started the day with a bogey as he finished his delayed first round, Riley soon found his feet, birdying three of the front five as he started his second round in positive fashion. He then completed the inward nine in 31 strokes as he picked up four additional birdies on the back nine. After a promising opening 66, Adam Scott&aposs putter let him down again as he fell to a dismal 75 – which included 35 putts – that saw him drop to one-over. The projected cut is two-under. Meanwhile Wade Ormsby has shot up the leaderboard to sit just one stroke behind defending champion Darren Clarke and Swede Peter Hedblom at the halfway mark of the KLM Open in the Netherlands. The Australian fired a second-round 67 to go along with his opening 66 to be at seven-under-par. Compatriot Terry Pilkadaris is a further shot back at six-under after carding a brilliant 65. On a day when Colin Montgomerie and Jose Maria Olazabal both missed the halfway cut – Montgomerie for the third event in a row – Clarke boosted his hopes of retaining the title after coming home in 31. Hedblom has not even had a top-20 finish this season, but he joined Clarke on eight-under with his second successive 66. England&aposs Kenneth Ferrie, Welshman Bradley Dredge, Dubliner Peter Lawrie and Swede Oskar Henningsson sit alongside Wade Ormsby. Ryder Cup captain Montgomerie improved nine strokes on his opening 76, but at three-over crashed out by four. Olazabal, battling rheumatic pains again, finished two-over after a 72.
