The duo found touch on the greens to be well placed at the top of the leaderboard at six-under-par, tied with New Zealander Mark Brown, Chinese Taipei&aposs Lin Wen-tang and Dutchman Guido Van Der Valk. This group of five lead the tournament by one stroke, with a group of four players including Australian Neven Basic posting opening rounds of 66 to be in contention. Veteran Aussie Gary Simpson was in a tie for 10th position at four-under, while fellow Australians Jarrod Moseley, Michael Wright and Adam Blyth are also well in touch at three-under.
