Aussie trio through to final rounds of LPGA qualifying

Australian trio Anna Rawson, Kristie Smith and Sarah-Jane Kenyon performed exceptionally in the United States over the weekend to win through to the final qualifying phase of the LPGA Tour. Rawson posted rounds of 71 74 67 and 75 to finish at one-under overall and in a share of second alongside promising South African youngster Ashleigh Simon. Smith meanwhile pulled out one of the performances of her short career, shooting rounds of 73 70 71 and 78 to progress and Kenyon also won her chance to finally break on to the big stage by finishing in equal 14th position. Final qualifying is at Daytona from November 28 but those who missed out this time will get another chance to qualify for the final round at Venice, Florida.
