Aussies around the world- Weekend Preview

PGA TOUR– Deutsche Bank Championship, Boston. Twelve Australians will be in the field for the second round of the FedEx Cup playoffs at the Deutsche Bank championships in Boston. Matthew Goggin will hope to repeat his performance at the first round Barclays where he finished tied for fourth. Other Australians in the field are: Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Aaron Baddeley, Jason Day, Steve Elkington, Peter Lonard, Nick O&aposHern, Geoff Ogilvy, Rod Pampling, Adam Scott and John Senden LPGA– no event scheduled EUROPEAN TOUR– Johnnie Walker Championship, Gleneagles, Scotland. Four Australians will tee off in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles in Scotland as Europe s elite hope to perform well enough to gain the attention of Ryder Cup captain Nick Faldo. Peter O Malley, Peter Fowler, Matthew Millar and Marcus Fraser will fly the flag for the Aussies on Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The current champion is Scot Marc Warren who is back to defend his title. LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR-Finnair Masters, Helsinki, Finland. Almost a dozen Australians will turn out for the Finland stop on the tour at the Finnair Masters at Helsinki Golf Club. Nikki Garrett, Joanne Mills, Dana Lacey, Frances Bondad, Anna Rawson and Bree Turnbull will be among the field challenging defending champion Bettina Hauert of Germany. ASIAN TOUR-Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational, Jakarta. Brunei Open winner Rick Kulacz will lead the Australian lineup at the Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational at the Pandai Indah Kapuk Golf Club in Jakarta. Also in the field are Darren Beck, Scott Hend, Terry Pilkadaris, Peter Cooke, Kane Webber and Adam Blyth. NATIONWIDE TOUR– – no event scheduled. FUTURES TOUR– – no event scheduled.
