PGA TOUR FBR Open, TPC Scottsdale, Arizona The biggest party on the PGA Tour returns for another year as enormous crowds head to Phoenix for the FBR Open at TPC Scottsdale&aposs Stadium course. Mercedes-Benz champion Geoff Ogilvy returns after a week&aposs break and Aaron Baddeley, the 2007 champion in Phoenix, returns to the US after the Qatar Masters. John Senden, who finished inside the Top 10 at the Bob Hope Classic last week, will hope for an even better result in Scottsdale. Steve Elkington, Stuart Appleby, Rod Pampling, Peter Lonard, Mathew Goggin, Nathan Green, Jarrod Lyle and James Nitties also step out. PGA EUROPEAN TOUR Dubai Desert Classic, Emirates Golf Club, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The European Tour continues on its adventure in the Gulf with the Dubai Desert Classic. Defending champion Tiger Woods misses out as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. Woods had won this tournament twice in the last four years. Brett Rumford, Richard Green, Scott Strange and David Gleeson start again field with Rumford looking to build on some solid recent performances. Rumford was in contention in Qatar until a hard third round brought him unstuck. South Africa&aposs Louis Oosthuizen played superbly in Qatar last week and will be well in contention again as well as last week&aposs winner Alvaro Quiros. The other tours are yet to commence in 2009.
