Jones, who began the final round holding a two-shot cushion, was tied with Japanese Toru Taniguchi after the 17th hole but sank a nine-metre eagle putt on the par-five 18th to score a dramatic win. “I can&apost believe what happened in the last 10 minutes,” said a jubilant Jones, who punched the air at the moment he eagled. “I didn&apost even think to get the putt in, I was trying to get the putt close. It wasn&apost a miracle shot, but it&aposs amazing.
