LPGA TOUR Bell-Micro Classic, Mobile, Alabama Canadian Open champion Katherine Hull posted another strong result in the Bell-Micro Classic at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama. Hull, outright second going into the final round, shot a 1-over round of 73 to finish at T4 with South Korean Hee Young Park and American Danielle Downey. It was tough for Hull who would have been just two strokes behind winner Angela Stanford, had she not double-bogeyed the 18th at the end of her third round. Queenslander Sarah-Jane Kenyon produced an excellent performance, just a week after gaining her tour card, finishing at T16- level with world number 5 Paula Creamer. Leaderboard 1. Appleby fired a final round 69 to leave him at 2-under for the tournament and level with last week s European Masters winner Jean-Francois Lucquin. Richard Green was the next best Australian at T22 finishing at 1-under (287). Swede Robert Karlsson won by two strokes over Italy s Francesco Molinari and New Zealander Michael Campbell who found some form with a 9-under 279 after four rounds. Leaderboard 1. Defending champion Laura Davies retained her crown finishing at 15-under, three strokes ahead of fellow Brit Lisa Hall. Frances Bondad was the next best Australian T40 with a 1-over 289. Nikki Garrett and Dana Lacey both missed the cut. Ormsby shot rounds of 67-67-68 and 70 to finish 12-under par, 8 shots adrift of winner Chris Tidland at 20-under. Greg Chalmers was the next Aussie at T22 at -8. Jarrod Lyle finished at 4-over.
