Aussies begin chase in Japan

Luke Humphries (NSW) had the best round on the opening day for the Australian team with a 1-under par 70 on the Chukyo Country Club layout. Cameron Smith (QLD) finished with an even par 71 to be tied for ninth after the opening day on the individual leaderboard. Jordan Zunic and Nathan Holman shot rounds of 75 and 83 respectively.
