China&aposs Shanshan Feng shot a three-under 69 to win the Dubai Ladies Masters by five strokes on Saturday as the Australian contingent failed to make up ground lost mainly on the opening day. Feng, who led from start to finish at the Emirates Golf Club, blitzed the field with a four-round score of 21-under. The world number six continued her fine form in the final round with an eagle on the third hole. Feng made a rare bogey two holes later but responded with birdies on the eighth and 14th holes before securing her sixth title of the season. Dutchwoman Dewi Claire Schreefel was outright second at 16 under overall, while Becky Brewerton of Wales and German Caroline Masson were a further four shots behind in equal third. Brewerton posted the best round of the day with a 65 that saw her climb up the leaderboard from 20th overnight. Canada&aposs Lorie Kane, American Cindy Lacrosse and Gwladys Nocera of France tied for fifth at 11 under, one stroke ahead of Denmark&aposs Line Vedel and Englishwoman Felicity Johnson in equal eighth. America&aposs Lexi Thompson and Spaniard Carlota Ciganda led a group of six players in a tie for 10th at nine under. Sarah Kemp was the best of the Australians in equal 19th at six under, while countrywoman Bree Arthur was a further stoke behind in a tie for 24th.
