Aussies on Euro card cusp

Geelong’s Deyen Lawson and Adelaide’s Nick Cullen are on the verge of earning full European Tour cards.

Lawson fired a day’s best eight-under-par 63 to charge to a share of 10th after five of six rounds of the gruelling Q-school finale in Spain.

Cullen calmly shot a bogey-free 69 to slide into a share of 15th at 14 under.

The top 25 and ties after tonight’s final round earn cards for season 2019.

American Kurt Kitayama, Frenchman Romain Langasque and South African Zander Lombard lead the way at 19 under par.
