Aussies On Tour: Sep 23

It’s been a solid if not spectacular week for the Australians on the world’s tours.

Cam Percy continued his superb consistency in 2019 with another great run on the PGA Tour in Mississippi, remaining in contention until deep on day four before finishing T11.

Queenslander Aaron Wilkin continued his rise up the PGA Tour China order of merit with a share of ninth at Xiang Shui Bay.

But the #AussieOfTheWeek this week goes to a man who recently became a father for the first time, Victorian Matt Griffin.

The ever-popular right-hander has been mentioned in dispatches several times, but hasn’t had the lofty honour bestowed upon him this year until his share of seventh on the Japan Tour’s Shinhan Donghae Open in Korea, which took him to an impressive 15^th on the JGTO money list for the season.
