Australia finish 10th in Japan

Australia has finished in 10th place after the final round of the Toyota World Junior Championship at Chukyo Country Club in Nagoya, Japan. The Australian team, which included Luke Humphries, Nathan Holman, Cameron Smith and Jordan Zunic, shot a collective final round 213 to finish at 3-under par for the championship. The team had earlier shot rounds of 216, 209 and 211. Smith (QLD) was the highest placed Australian on the individual leaderboard in outright 6th. Smith fired rounds of 71, 68, 69 and 70 to be 6-under par. Humphries, who opened with rounds of 70 and 68 to be in second position, slipped ot a tie for 19th (-1) after rounds of 72 and 73. Zunic and Holman both finished further down the leaderboard. Australia finished 19 strokes behind winners Argentina at 22-under par. The United States were second with England third.
