In the morning foursomes, Daniel Beckmann (VIC) and Lester Peterson, who continues to fill in for the ill Daniel Nisbet, defeated Satoshi Kodaira and Tomoharu Otsuki 5&4. Matt Jager (WA) and Matt Giles (NSW) who were paired together in the opening round, defeated Keisuke Otawa and Yutaro Kuga 3&2. Jordan Sherratt (SA) and Brendan Smith (NSW) defeated Yuki Usami and Shinji Tomimura 3&2. In the afternoon singles, Lester Peterson claimed his first individual win of the tournament with a strong 6&5 win over Yutaro Kuga. Jordan Sherratt defeated Shinji Tomimura 4&3 while Daniel Beckmann accounted for Satoshi Kodaira, who he played against in the foursomes earlier, 4&3. Brendan Smith lost 4&3 to Tomoharu Otsuki while Matt Jager had a narrow loss to Keisuke Otawa, 1-down. Matt Giles finished square with Yuki Usami.
