Australia has finished third in the Asia Pacific Senior Teams Championship in China.
Played in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Senior Amateur at Nanshan Hot Springs Golf Club in Qingdao, the Australian team finished 12 shots behind New Zealand and 5 shots behind Japan.
A great final round of two under par 70 by New Zealand’s Frank Borren was the highlight in a very strong team effort.
The individual championship saw the runaway leader Eduardo Bagtas from The Philippines maintain his lead for a win over Frank Borren with another New Zealander Andrew McKechnie in third place.
