The week was great fun, we learnt a lot and the experience was awesome! The tournament was run amazing and we were treated very well. It was also amazing how all the players and coaches were surprised how well prepared we were in terms of fitness and preparation.

Kelab Golf Sarawak was a great venue and a challenging golf course. It was special to be a part of Golf Australia in that tournament and to perform well, as well as winning the Team’s event.

My fitness for the week felt great and I am looking forward to playing this week at Saujana Amateur. The practice round at Saujana Golf Club and was very tough. I’m looking forward to the week.

Thanks to this little guy for carrying the bag last week!  It was an absolutely honour and privilege to have been given the opportunity to represent our country. With this being my first overseas trip and golf tournament it's going to be an experience I'll never forget.

The first week in Malaysia and overseas was very different but a great experience. The climate here is massively different to back home! The humidity is ridiculous and there is a thunderstorm every day at 3pm for some reason.

Kelab Golf Sarawak was a great venue for the 113th Malaysian Amateur Open and a good test of golf. I played quite well all week. I just couldn't get the ball in hole but it was still a good result none-the-less to finish third.

It was great to take out the Team’s event with Harro! Got some silverware to bring home which is always nice.

The Malaysian Golf Association treated us well and they ran a fantastic event. Sarawak was a great experience and a bit of a culture shock for me, but it's always nice to experience something a little different.

We played a practice round at Saujana Golf and Country Club in preparation for the MPI Saujana Amateur Championship this week. This course is so long and tough! It was rated the sixth hardest golf course in the world! It's going to be a great test of golf but one I am looking forward to.
