Australian Amateur Championships Set to Tee Off

The 2015 Australian Amateur Championships tee off this week in Sydney at The Australian GC and The Lakes GC.  28 men and 9 women from Victoria will compete for the coveted titles in what Golf Australia deem to be the strongest field in the history of the tournament.

The qualifying rounds are played at both The Lakes and The Australian, with the matchplay rounds all played at The Australian.

A number of Vics will be keen to show their talents, including Lucas Herbert who finished as leading amateur at the Australian Open, recently held at The Australian GC.  Our last Victorian winners were Stacey Keating in 2010 and Andrew Martin in 2004.

Scores for the tournament will be available on the Golf Australia website.
