Australian Deaf Golf champions crowned

The 23rd Australian Deaf Golf Championships was held at Mt Osmond Golf Club, in Adelaide, 9-16 January as part of the Australian Deaf Games.

The Championships were proudly supported by Empower Golf, established specifically to facilitate and promote golf for all Australians regardless of their physical or psychological abilities.

A terrific week was had by all at Mt Osmond Golf Club, located in the foothills overlooking Adelaide.

The course proved to be tough, but fair, for the 25 men and five women participants, representing 5 states.

Luke Ellis was the winner of the Men’s Championship and Linda Marchesi the winner of the Ladies Championships. Chris Cooper was crowned the Senior Champion.
