Australian Women’s Interstate Teams Matches (for the Gladys Hay Memorial Cup), West Lakes Golf Club Defending champions Western Australia has increased its lead after the second day of play at West Lakes Golf Club in Adelaide. The Western Australians defeated South Australia and squared with New South Wales to maintain their grip on top spot with Minjee Lee and Hayley Bettencourt again undefeated for WA. Victoria is in second place despite a narrow loss to New South Wales in the morning. The Victorians fought back to defeat Tasmania 4-1 in the afternoon. NSW is in third place, three matches and half a contest behind the Victorians. Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia complete the leaderboard. Round 5 will be played on Thursday morning at 8.00am. Australian Men’sInterstate Teams Matches, Royal Adelaide Golf Club Round 3 & 4 New South Wales moved out of second place and into the lead after Day 2 at the Australian Men’sInterstate Teams Matches at Royal Adelaide Golf Club. The New South Wales team defeated Victoria 4-3 but lost by the same score line to Western Australia in the afternoon. Ben Clementson finished the day undefeated for the leaders. Tasmania were the talk of the day after winning both contests to move into outright second place. The Tasmanians beat Queensland in the morning and Victoria in the afternoon and are now half a contest behind NSW. Nathan Gatehouse and Sam Rawlings were among the Tasmanians to go undefeated. The Victorians are in third place place after today s defeats. South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia complete the standings.
