Australian Junior Entries Open

Entries are open for the 2018 Australian Junior Championships to be played from 11-13 April in Perth.

The girls’ championship will be played at Royal Perth Golf Club while the boys’ championship will be played at Gosnells Golf Club.

It is the first time Gosnells has hosted a national junior championship, whilst Royal Perth hosts the girls’ event for the sixth time.

Royal Perth Golf Course is a tight and challenging layout, and is sure to test some of Australia’s and the world’s best young golfers.

Gosnells Golf Club is one of the premier golf courses in Perth and was awarded the 2014 Metropolitan Golf Course of the Year and 2015 Metropolitan Golf Facility of the year by the WA Golf Industry. Boasting manicured fairways, quick undulating greens and a natural Australian bush setting, it is a magnificent test for any golfer.

Both events are played over 72-holes stroke play, and with a place in the Australian Open field up for grabs for the champions, there will be plenty of excitement come the final round.

With past champions including Brett Ogle, Peter O’Malley, Stuart Appleby, Robert Allenby, Adam Scott, Jason Day, Cameron Smith, Jan Stephenson and Minjee Lee, the trophies have stellar honour rolls.

The GA handicap limit is 5.4 for boys and 15.0 for girls. The entry fee includes a practice round, yardage book, and complimentary range balls and pull buggies for the event.

Entries close at 12 pm AEDT on 13 March.
