Entries are now open for the Australian Men’sSenior Amateur Championship to be played at Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane, from 3-5 September. Defending champion Sam Christie from Queensland will be looking to retain his title on home soil, while three time champion Stefan Albinski from NSW will be looking to add a fourth title to his name. They are sure to face some tough competition from local Peter King who currently sits in second on the Australian Men’sSenior Ranking System and two time Champion Denis Dale from NSW. The event once again sees players contest 54-holes stroke play over three days. The handicap limit for 2013 is 9.4, and with the event not having been played in Queensland since 2009, it is sure to reach it maximum field size of 144 players. The event is in its 33rd year, having been played since 1981, and with the winner claiming the Kerry Packer Trophy, it is Australia s premier men’s senior event.
