Australian Mid Amateur heads to Links Lady Bay

Links Lady Bay Resort in South Australia will host the 2017 Australian Mid Amateur Championships from 8-10 November.

With the event in its 11th year, it is the only national title for players in the 30-54 years age bracket. Contested over 54-holes stroke play, it attracts some of the best players in Australia.

Just a one hour drive south of Adelaide, Links Lady Bay was designed by golfing legends Jack Newton, Graeme Grant and John Spencer. It has subtle bent greens and is a true St Andrews style sand based course.

It is the first time the men’s championship has been played in South Australia, with the women’s event last played there in 2007 – the inaugural year.

A maximum handicap limit of 8.4 for men and 19.0 for women applies.
