Australian Women’s Foursomes ends in thrilling tie

Stephanie Na and Clare Choi were forced to split their second title in as many days when they finished equal first at Riversdale in the Australian Women&aposs Foursomes with respective partners Bree Arthur and Stacey Keating. Na and Arthur shot consecutive rounds of 73 to finish on a two-round aggregate score of 146. Choi and Keating were not far off the pace in the morning after posting a 74 but the duo came storming home with a tournament-best 72 to share honours. The West Australian pair of Stacey Shanahan and Kristie Smith finished outright third on 147 whilst Dana Kim and Caroline Bon of New Zealand were fourth just a further shot back. Another Kiwi group consisting of Larissa Ervera and Penny Smith set the pace early when they turned for home in a share of the lead, but a 77 in the afternoon round saw them slip out of contention. The event is a prelude to the prestigious Riversdale Cup which starts on Sunday. Click here for a final scoreboard
