SCORES Great Britain&aposs Ashton Turner leads the Australian Youth Olympic Festival Golf Tournament by three strokes after an 8-under par 64 in the opening round at Twin Creeks in Sydney. Australia&aposs Kevin Yuan (NSW) is the leading Australian in a tie for fifth place at 3-under par after an opening round 69. Brett Coletta (VIC) is the next best Australian in a tie for ninth place at 2-under par with Kiwi Compton Pikari. David Micheluzzi (VIC) is a further stroke back at 1-under par in a tie for 11th. In the women&aposs championship Celina Yuan (NSW) is the best placed Australian in outright third after her even par 72. Great Britain pair Gabriella Cowley and Georgia Hall share the lead after 1-under par 71s. Bianca Ling (VIC) is in outright 12th after an opening round 75. Alyssa Keir (WA) finished with a 79 while flag bearer Amy Walsh finished with a first round 80. The second round begins today in very hot conditions.
