AVJennings becomes naming rights partner of NSW Open

The NSW Open Golf Championship has received a major boost with iconic Australian residential developer AVJennings becoming the naming rights sponsor of the tournament for the next two years.

To be known as the AVJennings NSW Open, this year’s tournament will be played at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club in greater western Sydney from November 8th to 11th.

Stuart Fraser, CEO of Golf NSW was thrilled to announce AVJennings as the naming rights partner for the NSW Open.

“Securing AVJennings as the naming rights sponsor of the NSW Open is a wonderful opportunity for us to ensure the tournament continues to grow into one of the most important fixtures on the Australian golf calendar,” Mr Fraser said.

Mr Fraser added the corporate values of AVJennings align closely to those which are maintained in golf.

“Our game is built on friendships, fraternity, community and respect. It is a game for all regardless of age or ability. AVJennings exemplify these qualities.”

AVJennings CEO, Peter Summers, said the opportunity to support a sport that appeals to everyday people of all ages was in line with the company’s values.
 
“We aim to develop residential communities where people have the opportunity to interact and get to know each other. We are delighted to sponsor an event where you can not only interact with other golf fans but walk the fairways with the professionals,” Mr Summers said.
