The final Rookie Series event for the April School holidays was contested at Bacchus Marsh Golf Club this morning. The weather Gods were with the players today as the crippling rain in Melbourne only made a very brief appearance in the West.
Having already notched up victories last week at Yarra Bend, Aashish Sudarsanan and Jazy Roberts again captured victory in the U15 boys and U11 girls sections respectively. Aashish fired 42 in the cool blustery conditions while Jazy came in with 46.
The Rookie Series specialist in Ben Powell secured his place in the final with a score of 40 in the U11 boys while Alexandra Kerr finished with 60 to take out the U15 girls title.
Krishan Dobson (U11 boys), Sayumi De Costa (U11 girls) and Stirling Shier (U15 boys) were the winners in the nett sections today.
