World No.6 Phil Mickelson and fellow American Kevin Sutherland head into the final round of the AT & T Pebble Beach Pro-Am sharing a one-stroke lead, while Australian Aaron Baddeley is on track for a top-10 finish following his PGA Tour win last week. Mickelson carded a two-under par 70 on the Spyglass Hill layout – one of three courses used on the first three days of the event – to be 14-under after opening with rounds of 65 and 67. He is joined atop the leaderboard by Sutherland, who added a 67 at Poppy Hills in the third round to his 72-63 opening efforts. The pair leads compatriot John Mallinger while former US Open champion Corey Pavin and Davis Love III are a further four strokes back in a share of fourth. Second-round leader Jim Furyk is part of a quartet of Americans who enter the final round, which will be played by the entire field at the Pebble Beach course, at eight-under, while Baddeley lies in a group two strokes further back after carding a 71 at Spyglass Hill. It wasn&apost a great day for fellow Australian Mark Hensby, however, as he slumped from being in a tie for fifth at the halfway mark of the tournament to be tied for 41st after a 77 at Spyglass Hill. The remainder of the Australians in the field, including Paul Gow (even-par), Mathew Goggin (one-over), Gavin Coles (three-over), Paul Sheehan (five over), Steve Allan (eight over), Jarrod Lyle (12-over), Steve Elkington (12-over) and Steven Bowditch (20-over), failed to make the 54-hole cut. New Zealanders Grant Waite and Phil Tataurangi will also not feature in final round action after ending day three at 10 and 12-over respectively.
