Baek one of five leaders

South Korean Baek Seuk-hyun carded a one-over 73 during Friday&aposs second round to move into a share of the lead at the Taiwan Masters. In wet and windy conditions, Baek shot four birdies as he climbed up to equal first at one-under overall and on track for his maiden Asian Tour title at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club. “It wasn&apost fun because it is very windy and at any time, the wind can change direction,” said Baek. “It was raining for like five minutes, then it stopped, then it rained again. I had a double bogey because of the rain and it was so cold. “Since I changed my grip and swing, I started to play better. I&aposm ready and confident for this tournament. I&aposm feeling very comfortable with my irons. My grip was really strong previously but I loosen it now.” Joining Baek atop of the leaderboard after two rounds were Chinese Taipei trio Wang Shih-jui (73), Lien Chi-wei (77) and Tsai Chi-huang (69) as well as Filipino veteran Antonio Lascuna (73). Lin Wen-tang of Chinese Taipei was a further stroke back in a tie for sixth place alongside Bangladeshi Siddikur, Fin Kalle Samooja and Malaysia&aposs Danny Chia. Thailand&aposs Boonchu Ruangkit (72), Chinese Taipei pair Chen Tze-chung (72) and Yeh Wei-tze (71), Filipino Angelo Que (75), Brazilian Adilson Da Silva (72) and Dutchman Guido Van Der Valk (72) were all in a share for 10th.
