Korean golfer Hyung Sung Kim has today recorded a one shot win over Akio Sadakata at the Japan Golf Tour s Vana H Cup KBC Augusta event in Fukuoka in southern Japan. The 22 year old Kim, in his 4th season on the Japan Golf Tour, has been twice runner-up this season in Japan, including last week s Kansai Championship. This however would be his first Japan Tour victory. Japan s Kazuhiko Hosakawa finished alone in third position while Australian Kurt Barnes finished in a tie for 4th with Ryutaro Nagano. Barnes earned 4,840,000 (A$58,000) New Zealander David Smail recorded his best finish of the year when he finished in a share of 7th. Brendan Jones, who finished well back in this week s event, still leads the Japan Tour s money list.
