Barr, Groom share 10th in India

Australian Scott Barr and Adam Groom moved into a tie for 10th at the halfway point of the Hero Indian Open in Bengaluru. Barr and Groom are locked in a six-way tie at four-under-par, six shots behind runaway leader Richie Ramsay of Scotland in the Asian Tour event. Barr hit five birdies and one double-bogey in a three-under round of 68, storming home on the back nine to force his way into contention. Groom also shot a 68, which included four birdies and a bogey. Australian Scott Hend is in a tie for 20th with an overall score of two over, while compatriots Unho Park (tied for 29th), Tim Stewart, Marcus Both (tied for 38th) and Darren Beck (tied for 45th) are well off the pace. Ramsay&aposs second consecutive round of 66 saw him take a three-shot lead after Friday&aposs play, with his bogey-free round helping him build a handy advantage ahead of Thai pair Panuphol Pittayarat and Chapchai Nirat.
