Malaysia&aposs Ben Leong has held off Thai star Thongchai Jaidee to win the Worldwide Selangor Masters. Long triumphed by one stroke for his maiden Asian Tour title. The 22-year-old shot a final round of two-under 69 at the Seri Selangor Golf Club and achieved a hat-trick of victories after notching two titles over the past fortnight. Two-time Asian Tour No.1 Thongchai was behind Ben by one shot after the completion of the third round in the morning. He battled on with three birdies in the middle of the back nine but failed to sink a 20ft birdie attempt at the last hole to force a playoff. Thongchai settled for a 14-under 270 total. Australia&aposs leading player was Neven Basic on 279 tied for fourth. With him were Danny Chia of Malaysia, Mars Pucay of the Philippines and India&aposs Gaurav Ghei.
